Since we’re at the six-month mark:
- A Rag, A Bone and a Hank of Hair by Nicholas Fisk
- Golden Witchbreed by Mary Gentle
- Cold Earth by Sarah Moss
- Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness
- The Dream of Perpetual Motion by Dexter Palmer
- New Model Army by Adam Roberts
- Seeing by Jose Saramago
- Bearings by Gary K Wolfe
And the moral of the story is: I need to find more time to write up my reading.
And not-so-good books, as well?
Hmm. The Heritage of Hastur, obviously; I wasn’t wild about Ooku, though it was growing on me by the end of volume 2; some of the Nicholas Fisks (e.g. Wheelie in the Stars) don’t hold up; but that’s about the worst. More mediocre books, of course, but listing those as well might be taking things a bit far. :-)
